About

I work with people who struggle with various mental health issues such as depression, constant worrying, loneliness, and intimacy issues. While symptoms can be different, most of the mental health challenges people are experiencing stem from adverse experiences in childhood. Strategies that were once important for survival can cause issues in adulthood. Whatever the symptoms, I would like to support you in healing these wounds and creating a life that is meaningful to you.

Mental health problems emerge from multiple factors, including biological factors, early attachment trauma and stressful life events.  It is also possible to think of our thoughts, feelings, and relationships, as well as the self-destructive or addictive behaviours, as originating from unfulfilled core needs throughout development. In our work together, we will detect the issues you are currently struggling with and how those are connected to past events and unmet needs. Using evidence-based methods, we will work on dealing with these issues together.

I can help you:

  • strengthen your ability to connect and communicate
  • transform work exhaustion into better interpersonal and business goals
  • confront relationship issues and intimacy fears and build deeper connections
  • give up control and perfectionism to be more accepting of yourself and others

I believe that the most critical factor predicting therapy success is the relationship between the therapist and client. That is why I want to emphasise the importance of teamwork. I will help you formulate your therapy goals, but the goals will always reflect what YOU find important and want to achieve.
