Are you an international professional who seems capable and composed on the outside — but feels overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck on the inside?
Perhaps you:
- Overthink situations and decisions, struggle to switch off
- Feel pressure to perform and "hold it together"
- Experience burnout or anxiety
- Navigate constant change at work or in life combined with loss and grief
- Feel highly responsible which leaves little space for yourself
- Are neurodivergent and trying to function in systems that don't fully fit you
Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful, caring, and high-functioning. They are used to solving problems for others. Yet when facing their own personal struggles and emotions, they feel lost, drained, or disconnected.
Therapy offers a different kind of space - one where you don’t have to perform.
My approach is holistic, systemic, and trauma-sensitive.
We look not only at current stressors, but also at deeper patterns:
- Unmet (emotional) needs
- Internalised expectations
- Perfectionism, self-criticism, people-pleasing
- Cultural transitions and expat identity
- Unprocessed experiences that still shape your reactions
I combine systemic therapy, positive psychology, trauma-sensitive support, mindfulness, and body-based practices to tailor the work to you.
Sessions are collaborative, structured yet flexible. You won’t be pushed into labels or rigid treatment plans. Instead, we create clarity around what is happening, why it makes sense, and how you can respond differently.
The goal is not just to cope better.
It is to live and work in a way that feels sustainable, grounded, and aligned with who you are.
I bring a unique combination of therapeutic training and experience within high-performance environments.
Counselling & Therapy
In my private practice, Sevenwells, I work primarily with international clients navigating stress, burnout, and complex life transitions.
Coaching & Mentoring
Through my work with international professionals, particularly women and neurodivergent individuals, I support sustainable performance and resilience without self-abandonment.
As an expat and a mother myself, I understand the layered complexity of balancing identity, ambition, and belonging across cultures.
Organisational & Leadership Experience
Before focusing fully on coaching and therapy, I worked in organisational change and management consultancy. I have supported professionals and teams through high-pressure transformations and uncertainty.
This background helps me understand the realities of corporate life, leadership demands, and performance culture — not just theoretically, but from lived experience.

"Working with Dagmar is like working with my biggest supporter. She has an encouraging and non-judgmental style, has provided space in which I feel heard, and provided structure to help me see things more clearly. Generous in what she brings to the sessions, she has been wholeheartedly committed to me seeing and owning my value and to taking action in the areas that matter."
"Dagmar gave me a completely new perspective about myself and helped me understand the choices I make. Thanks to her, I became more aware of my strengths and weaknesses and learned to listen to myself. She helped me to get to know myself better, understand my personality and most importantly accept myself as it is. These are very valuable insights which will guide me for the rest of my life."
"I found Dagmar through a very good friend in a time where I was feeling very lost and going through a very difficult period in my life. Thanks to Dagmar, I was able to find my way again. I gained a personal strength that I didn't know I could have and I am able to look and face the daily challenges in a much more calm and secure way."
